& Conditions
MAKING A RESERVATION
In order for us to accept your booking your party leader must read
and agree to the property Terms & Conditions (T&C’s).
The person who signs or ‘submits’ the booking form does
so on behalf of all the members of the party and binds them jointly
to these terms and conditions. All payments are to be in Sterling,
Euro or US Dollars unless otherwise agreed. Any additional nights
will be charged on a pro-rata basis and must be agreed with the
accommodation provider in advance.
INITIAL PAYMENT / DEPOSITS
At the time of your booking you will be asked to pay an initial
non refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost of the villa rental
to secure your booking. This payment is your only commitment until
6 weeks prior to arrival when the balance shall fall due.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS
Bank details will NOT be debited on submission of this online booking,
however, your details will be held for security purposes. Upon confirmation
and acceptance of the booking you will be contacted and provided
with a payment option to suit both parties.
PAYMENT OF BALANCE
The balance of the holiday cost must be paid at least 6 weeks prior
to arrival. Please ensure the payment is made within this time.
We reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled if no communication
has been made in which case you could be liable to pay the cancellation
charges detailed below. Should you arrange your holiday within 6
weeks of traveling then full payment is due with at the time of
booking.
CANCELLATIONS
Should you wish to cancel your booking the person who originally
signed/submitted the booking form must do so by sending written
confirmation. In the event of a cancellation and to compensate for
the expense of processing your booking and for any loss that may
result from being unable to re-sell the particular holiday period
we reserve the right charge the following cancellation fees. Period
prior to arrival - MORE THAN 43 DAYS – INITIAL DEPOSIT - 25%,
42 to 29 DAYS - 60%, WITHIN 28 DAYS 100%.
VILLA MANAGER
Villa Vale Da Pinta has a personal Villa Manager who will greet
you on arrival. They will personally ensure that you are familiar
with the property and that everything is to your satisfaction. They
will be available throughout your holiday should you require assistance.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
The Villa is available from 3pm on day of arrival and must be vacated
by 10 am on the day of departure. The maid, gardener and pool men
need this time to prepare the Villa properly for incoming guests.
PROBLEMS WITH THE VIILLA
Should you have any problems with the Villa during your holiday
you must immediately inform the villa manager who will then endeavor
to put things right. If you fail to do this we cannot accept responsibility,
as we have not hade the opportunity to investigate and rectify any
problems.
BREAKAGES AND DAMAGE - We reserve
the right to debit your Credit/Debit card for any costs relevant
to damage or breakages deemed to be your responsibility. This is
our insurance in the event anything is damaged or broken during
your stay, loss of keys, misuse, damage to fly screens etc.
MAINTANENCE - We endeavor to
maintain high standards, however, inevitably items break or require
maintenance therefore please be aware that you may encounter maintenance
staff and gardeners during your stay. Please also remember to leave
the Villa in a reasonably clean and tidy condition as this is our
home and we reserve the right to charge for extra cleaning if necessary.
SECURITY / SAFE - We have provided
a safe for the use of our guests; we cannot accept responsibility
for any loss under any circumstances. PETS - We regret that no pets
are allowed at Villa Vale da Pinta.
INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS - Holiday
and travel Insurance, including cancellation cover, is essential
for your own protection and we strongly recommend that you and all
members of your party be suitably insured. The Villa is checked
on a weekly basis for hazards to our clients, we are reassured that
every possible action has been taken to insure your safety while
enjoying the Villa but cannot be held responsible for injury caused
by your carelessness, i.e. running on wet floors or around the pool
for example.
PARTY SIZES - At no time must
number of persons occupying the property exceed the number stated
on the booking form except with prior written agreement. We reserve
the right to refuse admittance if this condition is not observed.
